The home's unique urban site between two streets and a railroad track informs a design where each side is designed to deal with its specific exposure. Stone, brick and wood are used to articulate volumes, with glass occuring in the gaps between. Window placment is carefully considered in relationship to the surrounding environment allowing for optimal natural lighting within to emphasize the owner's relatonship to the daily solar path's of the sun. |
